Art shouldn’t just match a room. It should wake it up.

As an oil painter, I create whimsical, vivid worlds for collectors who see the extraordinary in the unconventional. I believe that color is a tool for joy. In my past, I designed children’s outerwear and created my own textiles, which was a great source of joy for many years.

Today my joy comes from pairing unexpected, vibrant hues using traditional oils with subjects that range from vintage cowgirls and state fair ribbon winners to vast western landscapes.

Working out of my studio in Boulder, Colorado I build rich, luminous layers that make imaginative scenes come alive. My process is guided by intuition and a refusal to play it safe. I purposefully seek out the subject matter and color combinations that others might overlook, crafting a visual language that is entirely about curiosity and play.

My art is created for the rule-breakers and the color-lovers. If you are someone who looks past the expected and searches for pieces that possess a distinct personality and a touch of whimsy, we speak the same language.
